For those who read my blog, I will let you know a little about me. I have been a Pro Photographer since 1993. I love taking gorgeous photos of people. I always have, my poor family and girlfriends in gradeschool and highschool could tell you more about that, I always had everyone posing! I am so glad to be doing boudoir photography, as this is my calling! I love it. Making women look and feel amazing is just so fun, and I know I am helping each and everyone feel as good as they can! I also love going to movies with friends in my spare time...comedies mostly... a few suspense movies make it in the cut! I have two super kids that keep me busy too, and yes, they now run from a camera! Well, more later on me... Since the boudoir photography is so popular with brides, we discuss many other types of photo sessions we can do as well. We are doing some bridal portraits, with your dress, or just a veil, or some special honeymoon type outfit! 
With our boudoir sessions, we want to tailor it to meet your needs. If you want to do some wedding gown photos, please, let us know! Any special ideas, let us know!
It’s pretty much a wild and fun girls night out, and experience to remember! The “hostess” sets up the party date with our studio and invites up to 10 friends.
If 4 friends do sessions, her shoot is free, if 8 friends, do sessions, so is her little black book.
Columbus Boudoir is a classy boudoir studio dedicated to making every woman feel drop-dead gorgeous! We will have you feeling comfortable and coach you through the whole process.
Our studio has a gallery area where your group can enjoy music, movies, visiting with eachother and you may bring in food and drinks for the evening!
These are great parties for Moms nights out, bachelorette parties, girls night out, or just for a group of ladies who want to do a boudoir session, but don’t want to come alone!

Here is a classic pin up pose… we can do pin-up in each shoot, if you want some of that, and then a more classic intimate session, we can do one or both during a session!
We have many gorgeous photos of D on our site, she was so fun to work with and happy to have us share the images on our site! This is an image I love, I was just looking through them again to make sure I picked out all the gorgeous images… I don’t think D has seen this one yet either! Love to take images and tone them in black and white, it gives the image such a classic beautiful look, great for classic boudoir images.
I had fun with S, it wasn’t the typical boudoir shoot. But we captured some amazing photos! When you think of boudoir, you may only think of lingerie, but really we can do so much with just using our imagination, maybe your husbands tshirt, jersey, tie, etc… stuff he really loves to see you in… and much more! Use your imagination!
In many of our portraits with S we used her long hair to cover her..and really just show her…natural beauty.
Session fees and other stuff…
We have a few different packages, the base package is $195 and that is just for the session, all your images would be purchased a la carte. There are other packages that allow for albums to be included, as well as additional outfit changes, etc. We will send you out a PDF of our pricing information once you contact us. We can also go over this in person if you would like to see some of our albums up close and personal!
What about privacy?
At Columbus Boudoir we do everything in our means to ensure each client has the most privacy and security when it comes to her images. When you are photographed by Columbus Boudoir, certain measures will be taken to keep your photos private. Images will be placed on a professional password protected website for you to view, or viewed in our studio privately. If you decide to decline to share your images on the Columbus Boudoir website or other marketing, please be assured your images will be kept private.
Columbus Boudoir uses the up most industry measures to protect the confidentiality of your personal images, including the use of professional online viewing, professional labs and album binding to protect against unauthorized reproductions. Even with these efforts, Columbus Boudoir cannot guarantee that the images will be inaccessible to others given the current state of internet technology. While recognizing that limitation, Columbus Boudoir believes that the measures that it has undertaken are sufficient to achieve its security objectives.
Where do the sessions take place?
Columbus Boudoir has a private studio in Powell, Ohio – a Columbus suburb. We usually do all our session at our studio, as we have all our sets and any outfits or props there at the studio. We also sometimes work in hotel suites if we are doing a Marathon, or if we just want to change up the scenery for a client. We are also able to work in clients homes if this is the client’s preference.
What should I bring?
Bring a basic black lingerie set if you can, at least a basic black bra and black panties, any lingerie you love, corsets are wonderful but not everyone has one… but if you do, bring it! Bring a pair of your favorite jeans, your boyfriend/hubby shirt or tie, something that might show your personality, any jewelry you love, and make sure you have at least one pair of great heels! You can bring an evening gown, and if you are getting married, or recently wed – maybe something from your wedding… a veil or your wedding night outfit!
I have some photos I love and ideas, can I bring those?
Please send those to me if you can prior to the session, I would love to see ideas that you like for the session. This will help me prepare for our session in advance.
Do you airbrush? (this is a top question!)
Yes, we do! For every image, usually, we do a slight airbrush to it, to smooth skin. Digital photographs are very detailed, and we like to make the images a little softer for Boudoir. We also will do some digital enhancing to images, whether it is just smoothing over a blemish, fixing a bruise, taking out a few wrinkles or any dark circles, we make sure these images are natural and gorgeous! We do not do any “nip and tuck” and take pounds off anyone, we can…but we don’t do this up front. This type of editing will be discussed if you feel you want additional enhancements done to any images. We do want to represent you, and the BEST YOU there is…we want you to look gorgeous, but we want it to still look like you! My goal is to provide you with magazine quality images that blow you away!
I shoot boudoir photography because I love to make women feel good about themselves. It is amazing how these photos can turn around your self esteem or just show you once again how truly beautiful you really are! Boudoir photography is for women of all ages and sizes! These images can be used to surprise your groom on the wedding day, surprise a husband on an anniversary, or these can be used just for YOU to illustrate how great you look. Women have done these after losing weight, for a special birthday, or just for the heck of it! Any reason is good reason!
I love to see the womans face when we show her the final images! Her expressions are priceless. Yes…that is YOU! You look amazing! You are hot! Your husband will be so happy you did this for him! What a gift. Something that he will keep with him, guard with his life…and be so happy that you wanted to stir up his feelings!
At our studio we have many different sets and we work with the woman to do shots that she feels comfortable with. We base this on our conversations before the session, and during the session. We base our sets on the outfits she brings and the type of looks we want to capture… sultry, sexy, flirty..and more!
You will feel like a supermodel during you shoot… we want you to feel special, and gorgeous…because you are! This is something every woman should do at least once. Feel free to ask us for references, or ask a friend who may have done this. They are sure to say “Just do it, you will be glad you did!”

What a fun shoot this was. Ms. E came in to the studio with such energy and enthusiasm. We had a great time moving around to all the different sets, and capturing fun, sexy and intimate shots for her big surprise gift! Can’t wait to show you all the images “E”, there are so many great ones, it was hard to pick which to highlight here!
